Gun Cradle

Gun Cradle is a product designed to increase safety while hunting by always keeping the muzzle of your gun pointed in a safe direction: straight up!  It also has the advantage of supporting the weight of the gun across the shoulder, making carrying your gun for a day in the field effortless. The Gun Cradle is worn over whatever clothing the hunter deems appropriate (jackets, vests, etc.)  Often, as hunters become fatigued or distracted, the barrels of the loaded weapon start to drop and consequently point in unsafe directions: at the dogs, at the guide, at the other hunters! The Gun Cradle prevents this from happening.

    Every Gun Cradle is made by hand by me from the highest grade of leather:  English Bridle leather that is vegetable tanned and finished with oil and waxes, making it impervious to weather encountered during any and all hunting conditions. All materials are made in the USA with solid brass buckles and hardware, nylon harness thread (unaffected by UVA) and the leather is from the USA's oldest and most highly regarded tannery. 

 The Gun Cradle is designed to allow your gun to be drawn quickly to catch that surprise flush even if you have added a recoil pad to your stock. Until then, it holds your gun securely while protecting the stock.
